Nintendo Wii is a major hit. When it first came over shores to the United States, on November 19, 2006, the first eight days sold about 600,000 units. Yes, you heard me, six hundred thousand. Even now, more than three months from its release, the demand well exceeds the supply. Last month, the Wii completely outsold the other hardware. Last month, it sold 436,000 units. The Xbox 360 followed with 294,000 units, and the PS3 was in last with 244,000 units. Wii has proven to be a very successful console, and it's still selling strong. A few new games came out recently, among them Sonic and The Secret Rings, previously known as Sonic Wildfire. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is still waiting for a release date, however. The only certain fact is that it will come out in 2007.
